How to run the Edge server and map service on different servers?

1. Download Tomcat 7.

2. Install or unzip in any folder.

3. In the install directory, go to the folder “webapps”.

4. Copy and paste the war files that you need - edgemapservice.war or geomapservice.war.

5. In the install directory, go to the folder “Conf”.

6. Paste the Geomapservice.properties file.

7. If edge map server, copy the file pushnotification-terrago.p12. This file sends notifications to iOS devices.

8. In the installation directory, copy the folder “geo_tiff_command_line_tool”.

9. Paste this folder in the geomapservice root directory.

10. In the geomapservice root directory, in the conf folder, edit the Geomapservice.properties file, where Nativelib location is the path of geo_tiff_command_line_tool.

11. In the install directory, go to the folder “Conf”.

12. For Edge map, in the conf folder, edit the edgemap.properties file and give the geomapservice URL.

13. For Edge server, in the terragoedge.properties file, for webservice url give the geomapservice URL.

14. If Edge map service URL is changed, then update that URL in iOS and android.
